“Yellow is Forbidden” is a unique film that takes the viewer to the magical world created by Guo Pei. A fifty-kilogram dress that is so heavy that it takes a gymnast instead of a model to wear it on the catwalk. A dress made by 300 embroiderers. Precious gold fabric printed with a centuries-old Swiss fresco... All created by a woman who studied the craft at No. 2 Post-Mao Tse Tung Industrial School and is now taking the catwalks at Paris Haute Couture Week.
