This is the first time that fashion designer Dries Van Noten has allowed a filmmaker to be a part of his creative process and private life. Reiner Holzemer captures every small step of Dries in the conception and design of the four collections throughout the year.
In the film, you can see the rich fabrics, embroideries and patterns characteristic of the fashion designer's work, as well as representative fashion shows, which have become the most valued highlights of Paris Fashion Week, where the author presents his collections to the public. The life, spirit and creativity of a great master, who has managed to operate independently for more than 25 years in an increasingly concentrated and globalized fashion scene, is brought to the viewers.
Fashion designer Vilve Unt will make an introduction to the film screenings.
